How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In these three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live as they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth. Study will be offered on Tuesday mornings at 9am in the Student Center beginning on Tuesday, January 23rd. Books are available for purchase at Lifeway and Amazon.

This 3-Level program offers an increasingly more in-depth understanding of God's Word, starting with a set of essential classes and topics in Level One to a more in-depth specific set of topics in Level Three. Each of the three program levels contains five courses for completion. There is no cost to attend, except for any cost associated with an assigned textbook, and classes do not have to be taken in sequential order. Upon completing all five courses in any of the three levels, participants may request a Certificate of Completion.

Indian Rocks Baptist ChurchIR Kid's VBS 2024 The Great Jungle Journey GIVE KIDS ANSWERS TO THEIR QUESTIONS Every day, our kids are bombarded with questions: Did God really create everything? Why do bad things happen? Was Noah’s ark real? Why do I need to be saved? Can I trust the Bible? At this VBS, your kids will explore the biblical answers to these questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call. These ports are the 7 C’s of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. Kids will discover how these events shape our world, and they will learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday life. Prepare to swing into fun as we head out on The Great Jungle Journey! Monday, July 8 - Thursday, July 11 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM with day 5 on Sunday, July 14th during our Sunday Kid's Service.
New Believers Class
Fellowship Center, Hospitality RoomIf your child is interested in baptism, they currently have a three-part baptism class available. All three classes must be attended, parents must attend with the child, and the child must be able to read, write and have completed 2nd grade. The next class takes place on August 28, September 4 and September 11 from 6:45 PM to 7:45 PM in the Hospitality Room at the back of the Fellowship Center. Once the class is completed your child will be able to choose between beach baptism dates or we also offer baptism in the Worship Center during either the first or third Sunday services of the month.
Child Dedication
Fellowship CenterParent/Child Dedication Class Dedication classes are offered every other month on a Wednesday from 6:45-8:00 pm Dedication services are offered the second Sunday of every other month at the 9 am or 10:45am service The dedication class is required before being able to participate in the Parent/Child Dedication You do not however have to participate in the dedication service that takes place the same month as the class you chose to take. The class will be in the Education Center Church Conference Room MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT
