Women Thriving Solo April Chat and Chew Enjoy a light brunch, new friends and an inspirational message. Brunch $5 at the door Education Building, second floor, EC 252. Speaker – Neppie Alexander, Faith Community Nursing, will be sharing with us the Wellness Wheel.  In this model, factors are described as faith life, medical care, movement, nutrition, work, emotional/mental health, nutrition, and relationships with friends & family. Familiar Bible stories may be used to illustrate basic ideas as participants consider their own strengths, needs, and resources, including the many blessings of participation in the congregational life of a faith community.

Women Thriving Solo Brunch and Theater Trip Enjoy Sunday Brunch at IR EATS and then off to the Theater for Oliver! Sunday, May 7, 2023, Showtime is 2:00 pm. A wide variety of delicious brunch options at Indian Rocks, followed by a trip to the Eight O'Clock Theater for the Academy Award musical masterpiece, "Oliver". We will board the shuttle at the Fellowship Center Porte Cochere at 1 pm and return around 4 pm Theater ticket cost $32.00 and brunch will be paid for by you at IRBC - Get your reservations in early for the best seats.

Women’s Tuesday Night Bible Study | Roman’s

Summer Bible Study beginning Tuesday, June 6 at 6:30 pm in Education Center, room 252. We will be using Discovery Bible Study (DBS) method to study the book of Romans. DBS is a discipleship study which enables people to read the Bible and discover what it has to say to them. Simple, memorable questions allow participants to understand the character of God, encourage them to obey what they are learning and help them to share it with others.

Whether you're a dedicated volunteer in our ministry or someone interested in making a difference, we need YOU at our rally! At the beginning of the evening, Pastor Aaron will share some encouraging words and a challenge for the upcoming year. He will speak about how we can serve our church and community better. Then, you'll connect with others who serve in your primary area of ministry, enjoying a meal together and going through key information as we kick off the new ministry year at Indian Rocks. And if you're wondering where your primary area of service is on Sunday mornings, don't sweat it! Maybe you're part of the Kids Ministry, singing in the choir, or dedicated to our prayer ministry? No matter where you serve, we value you. For this rally, choose the area you feel you contribute most on Sunday mornings. This event is also an excellent opportunity to bring someone interested in serving. Know someone who might want to join in? Invite them! After all, everyone enjoys a free meal and quality time with their church family.

A Tuesday Morning and Evening Women’s Bible Study for Fall and Spring 2023-2024 CLASS BEGINS ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2023 Tuesday mornings from 9:00-11:00 am (Terri Montoya, facilitator) in Smiley's This 35-week series of classes given in four parts seeks to discover what the LORD Jesus has taught us about being born into and following Him in His kingdom. When we study the Bible, we learn that a central theme of Jesus teaching is the Kingdom of God and its fulfillment on earth. He said from the beginning of His ministry that we are to ‘seek first the Kingdom of God’. He also taught us to pray that “His Kingdom come, and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. This class seeks to study three selections of the Scripture that can teach us about how to live in His kingdom and be citizens that will glorify the King. Excavating the Treasures of the Word Through the Book of Romans Meeting in the Education Center room 252 from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm Required Materials- Physical Bible, notebook, writing utensil, Blue Letter Bible app (found on iPhone and Android) Optional Materials- “Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance”; “The Treasury of Scripture Knowledge”- Hendrickson; Strong’s Concordance app Using the Discovery Bible Method, we will learn that anyone, even us the everyday woman, can study the Word of God. From the book of Romans, we will learn to study the Word of God and truly become women who can “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).

In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth. Study will be offered on Tuesday mornings at 9am in the Student Center beginning on Tuesday, January 23rd. Books are available for purchase at Lifeway and Amazon.
