Our church’s mission is to help as many people as possible embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ and continue to grow in their faith. Being a part of a smaller group of like-minded people provides a great opportunity for this to happen. In our groups we learn God’s Word, care for each other, praise God for who He is and what He’s done, and pray to God for His help and guidance. The key is – we do these things together! These meaningful friendships help everyone grow in their faith. There’s a group for everyone no matter the age and stage of life you find yourself in. We’re here to help you find a place to get connected here at Indian Rocks.
Types of Groups:
Life Groups: Year-round weekly gatherings of people who are committed to following Jesus together.
Study Groups: Topic-driven groups which take a more academic approach to understanding and applying God’s Word to everyday life (including Bible Institute).
Care Groups: People helping people heal from life’s hurts.
Wednesday PM Women's Bible Study - Abide by Jen Wilkins
Women's Bible Study - Abide A 10-Session Bible Study for Women Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. - 1 John 2:24 How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In these three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth. Study will be offered on Tuesday mornings at 9am in the Student Center and on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 in Smiley's. Books are available for purchase at Lifeway and Amazon
