Tithes and Offering (General Budget)

A tithe is the first tenth of your income (Malachi 3:10).  An offering is a gift above and beyond the Tithe. These gifts will support the budget as set forth and approved by the church. 

Faith Promise (Missions Fund)

These funds will go toward supporting our local mission initiatives as well as our missionaries serving globally.

Forward (New Children’s Center – Building Fund)

Gifts toward this fund will help make possible the construction of a new building to house the Children’s Ministry, which currently conducts its activities in a multi-purpose area requiring setup and teardown twice-weekly. The new Children’s Center would provide the Children’s Ministry a truly dedicated space designed exclusively for children and age-appropriate activities in a more secure area.

Ways to Give

Online Giving

Online gifts may be made using your Visa or MasterCard; Credit/Debit.  This site also allows you to set up regular recurring gifts for your convenience. Please note that the amount Indian Rocks receives will be approximately 3% lower than the Gift amount specified due to online processing fees. We strongly discourage going into debt through credit cards as a means to give. You can give online here.

Cash/Check

Gifts can be made at any of our weekly worship services by placing them in the offering plate or in one of the Wooden Boxes in the Worship Center. Gifts can also be placed in the wall-mounted Drop Box in the Education Center lobby, in front of the Finance Office, or at the Drop Box in the Fellowship Center hallway, next to the drinking fountain. Or simply mail your check to our Finance Office: 12685 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33774.

Text to Give – (727-201-1194)

You can now give your tithes and offerings via text message! Simply text the amount you would like to give to 727-201-1194, then follow the prompts. It’s an easy, secure and convenient way to give.

Legacy Giving (Bequests or Planned Gifts)

If you would like to make a non-cash gifts such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds or land, and save on capital gains taxes, contact our Stewardship/Planned Giving office at 727-593-8760.  Also, why not consider including First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks in your will or trust and leave a lasting legacy that will continue impacting the world for Christ long after you enter into His presence?

Gifts from an IRA Required Minimum Distribution

Did you know that you can donate your IRA Required Minimum Distribution to First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks as a charitable gift and avoid income taxes on the amount given? You must be 70 1/2 years or older and the IRA custodian must designate the distribution directly to our church. Consult your tax advisor or IRA custodian for more information.

Donating Stock

If you have appreciated stock that you would like to donate to First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, here is what you do. Contact your broker who has the shares you want to give.
