Buddy Break Volunteer Training
Fellowship CenterIndian Rocks Baptist Church One Wednesday a month from 6:45-8:00 in the Education Center room 262 Nathaniel’s Hope Buddy Break is a free kids program where kids with special needs (VIP kids) make new friends, have fun playing games, hear and see great children’s stories, videos, music and more! Siblings have fun too! Meanwhile, their caregivers get a break from their caregiving responsibilities, usually for three hours. Buddy Break is a growing outreach to the VIP community done in partnership with churches across the nation. Indian Rocks Baptist Church is one of those partners and provides “Buddies” who are screened and trained, then paired one-on-one with a VIP during Buddy Break. No previous experience is necessary, just a loving heart and open arms. Buddies are volunteers who are at least 14 years of age and have been screened and trained through a two-hour “Buddy Training 101” class. Indian Rocks Baptist Church is excited to be able to offer this program to the community. If you would like to be a Buddy, please register at the link.

Leadership Rally 2023
Worship CenterWhether you're a dedicated volunteer in our ministry or someone interested in making a difference, we need YOU at our rally! At the beginning of the evening, Pastor Aaron will share some encouraging words and a challenge for the upcoming year. He will speak about how we can serve our church and community better. Then, you'll connect with others who serve in your primary area of ministry, enjoying a meal together and going through key information as we kick off the new ministry year at Indian Rocks. And if you're wondering where your primary area of service is on Sunday mornings, don't sweat it! Maybe you're part of the Kids Ministry, singing in the choir, or dedicated to our prayer ministry? No matter where you serve, we value you. For this rally, choose the area you feel you contribute most on Sunday mornings. This event is also an excellent opportunity to bring someone interested in serving. Know someone who might want to join in? Invite them! After all, everyone enjoys a free meal and quality time with their church family.
Reflectors Jamboree Day
Indian Rocks Baptist ChurchThere will be a sensory-friendly time for individuals with special needs and their families to enjoy Jamboree for FREE. We will have a few carnival rides open and free lunch from Indian Rocks Eats. Registration is required and each individual must be accompanied by their family. We look forward to see everyone there!
