While we take a pause on Wednesday night activities for the summer, we wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to have a church night at the beach and celebrate a few baptisms while we are there! This is a great chance to invite your friends and bring your family or get together with your life group to fellowship at the beach from 6-8 PM before we baptize at 7 PM. So mark your calendars, bring a picnic dinner, and join us at Sand Key Park on Wednesday, July 26!

Campus Clean-Up Day

Join us for our Campus Clean-Up Day on Saturday, July 29, as we prepare our facilities for back-to-school and our upcoming celebration on August 6! This is a family-friendly event with various teams handling tasks from gardening to pressure washing, mopping, dusting, and tree trimming. There's something for everyone to get involved! We're committed to making this a fun and comfortable day out, so we'll supply plenty of water, lunch, and snacks for all attendees. You can choose your preferred team today by signing up on our website. If you have any questions or need more information about the different tasks available, we encourage you to visit our information table in the lobby. Handoff Celebration Sunday

Make sure to mark your calendars and save the date for a combined service on Sunday, August 6. This will be Pastor Aaron Filippone’s first official Sunday as Senior Pastor of Indian Rocks, and we are pulling out all the stops to mark the occasion! We will also be honoring Pastor Jeff Parish for his 16 years of faithful leadership as our senior pastor as he passes the baton of senior leadership to Pastor Aaron. Some special guests will join us as well: Pastor Charlie Martin, who led Indian Rocks for more than 35 years, will be here, as well as Pastor Jimmy Scroggins, the Lead Pastor of Family Church in West Palm Beach. Following the one combined service at 10:45, we’ll have an indoor “tailgate” reception for Pastor Jeff and Pastor Aaron that everyone is invited to attend! You don’t want to miss this momentous occasion in the life of our church, celebrating the past; present; and future of Indian Rocks and how God has used strong leadership to reach our community with the gospel.

Teacher: Ray Rodriguez Textbook: Handouts will be provided Indian Rocks Bible Institute is Indian Rocks’ Biblical Studies Program designed to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of God's Word through an academic approach. This 3-Level program offers an increasingly more in-depth understanding of God's Word, starting with a set of essential classes and topics in Level One to a more in-depth specific set of topics in Level Three. Each of the three program levels contains five courses for completion. There is no cost to attend, except for any cost associated with an assigned textbook, and classes do not have to be taken in sequential order. Upon completing all five courses in any of the three levels, participants may request a Certificate of Completion.

At the beginning of the evening, Pastor Aaron will share some encouraging words and a challenge for the upcoming year. He will speak about how we can serve our church and community better. Then, you'll connect with others who serve in your primary area of ministry, enjoying a meal together and going through key information as we kick off the new ministry year at Indian Rocks. And if you're wondering where your primary area of service is on Sunday mornings, don't sweat it! Maybe you're part of the Kids Ministry, singing in the choir, or dedicated to our prayer ministry? No matter where you serve, we value you. For this rally, choose the area you feel you contribute most on Sunday mornings. This event is also an excellent opportunity to bring someone interested in serving. Know someone who might want to join in? Invite them! When we study the Bible, we learn that a central theme of Jesus teaching is the Kingdom of God and its fulfillment on earth. He said from the beginning of His ministry that we are to ‘seek first the Kingdom of God’. He also taught us to pray that “His Kingdom come, and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. Indian Rocks is partnering with ONE More Child and will be collecting diapers for foster children and families now through Sunday, November 12th. Our goal is 20,000 diapers! There are 4 donation sites throughout the campus: Education Center, across from IR Eats Café, Missions Center & Thrift Center. Any brand or size is welcome but sizes 4, 5 & 6 are most needed. Let’s go be the church for these families!

Gospel on the Ground Bible Study

Come along with biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland in this 7-session study as she unpacks the life of the early church in the book of Acts and shows us that the kingdom of God is always on the move, always looking outward to bring meaning and joy to a world searching for true fulfillment and hope.
