Women's Bible Study - Abide A 10-Session Bible Study for Women Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you. - 1 John 2:24 How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In these three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live as they believe it. And he reminds us, as well. In this 10-session Bible study on the letters of 1, 2, and 3, John, Jen Wilkin helps you see how two thousand years later, his words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth. The study will be offered on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 in Smiley's. Books are available for purchase at Lifeway and Amazon

A Tuesday Morning and Evening Women’s Bible Study for Fall and Spring 2023-2024 CLASS BEGINS ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2023 Tuesday mornings from 9:00-11:00 am (Terri Montoya, facilitator) in Smiley's This 35-week series of classes given in four parts seeks to discover what the LORD Jesus has taught us about being born into and following Him in His kingdom. When we study the Bible, we learn that a central theme of Jesus teaching is the Kingdom of God and its fulfillment on earth. He said from the beginning of His ministry that we are to ‘seek first the Kingdom of God’. He also taught us to pray that “His Kingdom come, and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. This class seeks to study three selections of the Scripture that can teach us about how to live in His kingdom and be citizens that will glorify the King.
